How Can I Participate

Carrington Place boasts a full activity calendar with groups, classes, entertainment and more. There is something for everyone at Carrington Place.
If you are inclined you may wish to consider a place on the resident council. Meetings are held monthly to discuss concerns, give praise or suggest changes that can be made to any area of the home or it's services. As a council member you would be open to concerns brought to you by non members and present them at the meeting. Minutes are taken at each meeting and then presented to management for consideration and review. Management responds in writing to each matter in a very timely fashion as the input is appreciated and taken very seriously. After all, "It's all about you."
Enjoy Tim Hortons coffee each morning provided at our coffee club, before participating in physio-size class.
We offer crafting groups, card making classes and art classes regularly.
If you are Bingo lover you are invited to join us 3 nights a week for Bingo. We also have Happy hour 3 nights per week for an enjoyable time of levity, drink and social interaction.
Do you have a green thumb? Enjoy our resident maintained gardens and participate in it's planting, growth and upkeep.
Board the Van for exciting trips to the butterfly conservatory, niagara falls, flamborough, limeridge mall, country drives, restaurants, local shopping, and so much more.
Each month we celebrate Birthdays by bringing in entertainment and enjoying cake and ice cream together in the afternoon while recognizing the resident's birthday's.
Each week we have movie night on the big screen selected from a large library of movies both old and new.
Many of our residents love bowling with our new Wii machine (video game). The residents gather for a most enjoyable and fun time filled time together playing on our 52inch television.
Attend church service in the fireside room. Many local churches visit Carrington Place to fellowship and provide Sunday afternoon service for our residents. A great way to meet other believers and make friendships.
