There are many reasons people may wish to stay at Carrington Place. Some choose Carrington Place Retirement Home for a respite stay when a caregiver will be out of town or while they are recouperating from a surgery or medical treatment. Some people stay with us after hospitalization to get back on their feet or until they are able to return to their home. Some have stayed with us to decide if our retirement home is suitable to their needs.

While at Carrington Place Retirement Home you can expect to have all your meals made for you, laundry and housekeeping services, cable television, local phone service, 24hour coffee and snacks as well as additional assistance with medications, health monitoring and care for those requiring it. All of our Guests are encouraged to participate in all of our activities, events, entertainment and outings. Guests receive our full service accommodations during their stay all at one price of $95.00 per night.

Both of our respite suites are equipped with a bed, bureau and mirror, seating area with table, television, telephone, bar fridge, night tables, thermostat, 2 emergency call units, sprinklers and smoke detectors, personal air conditioning unit (depending on season.) as well as a full 4 piece bathroom with hand held shower, and large closet. Bed rails, commode, versa bars can be installed if desired or required.

Respite at Carrington Place Retirement Home is an affordable way to ensure your safety and piece of mind for whatever length of time you choose to be with us. Respite stays are welcome to book stays of up to 30 days in duration. Please try to book well in advance of your date as this service is very popular within our local Hamilton and Ancaster community and our respite spaces are limited.
