Our team including an Activity Director, Healthcare Workers, and Dietary Staff have one main goal in mind for you......we keep you as healthy as you can possibly be. All of our staff have been screened for police clearance for vulnerable persons and all have signed a confidentiality agreement. You can have confidence that we are trustworthy and professional.

Carrington Place Retirement Home takes a holistic approach to your health recognizing your mental, physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs. Our Health care team consists of Registered Nurses, Registered Practical nurses, Unregulated Care Providers whose background is in nursing, Personal Support Workers, Health Care and Nurses Aides. You can go to the nurses with health concerns of a personal nature knowing that they are professional and will assist you. Our nursing staff have a plethora of resources available to them from the community to assist our residents with nearly any issue that may need addressing. Access to Community Care Access Center, CNIB, Public Health, Ministry of Health, Infection Control, Alzheimer’s society, Upper Ottawa physiotherapy and other great community resources who will assist our seniors in house. Our kitchen manager and dietary staff will do their very best to meet your dietary needs.

We are trained and familiar with all kinds of medical diets and are able to meet even the most difficult diets i.e. celiac diet with ease. Our Activity Director and her team of volunteers dedicate their days to keeping you active and involving you in entertainment, events and activities that you will enjoy. We also have visiting Chaplains, and Ministers who visit with you if invited for fellowship or just private talks. Many local Ancaster churches take turns putting on services at Carrington Place Retirement Home for those that have difficulty getting out or for those who have chosen no denomination. Anyone who wishes to attend is welcome. Communion is offered on Thursday mornings in our Activity room for those who are Catholic.
